New Technologies in Music Teaching

The Greek Society for Music Education, is organising a seminar on the use of technologies, in order to facilitate music educators in terms of music technology.

The seminar deals with Finale software, downloading and editing  sound and image archives.

Those who will attend the seminar, should bring their own laptop.

There will be given notes and certificate of attendance.

Yoga for musicians

Yoga Music

G.S.M.E has created a cycle of meetings on «Yoga for musicians» every Saturday 3-4.30 in G.S.M.E. offices.

Monthly Participation Fee:

20 euros for G.S.M.E. members, 15 euros for student membersand  40 euros for non members.

GSME Choir

Say it with a song

The Greek Society for Music Education is inviting its members -men and women- as well as all friends musicians that share its values and principals and love choir singing, to join in the newly established Choir of GSME.  Rehearsals, every Saturday afternoon 17.00 – 19.00, in G.S.M.E. offices, Ermou 7 str.- 3rd  floor.  Erifyli Damianou is the conductor of the choir. First rehearsal for the choir 2nd February 2013. choir

Members may visit the offices and the library every Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00.

G.S.M.E. Headquarters are located at 7 Ermou Str. in Thessaloniki. They house the society's secretariat as well as its library, which contains a sizeable number of books, periodicals, catalogues, LP's, CD's, videotapes etc., all related to issues that pertain to the field of music education. These resources are available to the members of G.S.M.E. to borrow, free of any charge.
