. The aim of the 9th Conference of Greek Society for Music Education is to contribute:

- to the discussion and understanding of the changes taking place in musical-cultural and musical-educational contexts

- to the exploration of the meaning of musical experiences in various educational and learning environments

- to the search and negotiation of values in musical communication and education

- to the study of the factors that define identities and heterogeneities in music education and practice

- to the update of the conceptual framework of music teaching and learning in schools, conservatories and communities

-to reveal the role of music in the well-being of individuals and communities

-to the interdisciplinary discussion on music education fields (such as, music sociology, music ecology, music psychology, cultural studies, ethnomusicology, historical musicology, etc.)
